John Flaherty

Head Trader (UK)

John Flaherty joined the City in 1976 in Eurobond settlements where he became Head of client money positions on Loans Deposits and head of reconciliations. He was asked to join Eurobond trading room where he was trading with major European and US institutions in various sectors of the Eurobond Fixed income market. In 2000 John started in Equity Broking ranging from small cap to the FTSE 100 working between institutional clients and trading their orders into the open market, whilst doing so he also became company secretary reporting to the FSA and COO. 
John joined TCA in May 2007 as head of trading using TCA’s conversion mechanism to release shares from the debtors to sell thus reducing the outstanding Loan by the monies received from the sale of shares and producing reports to show outstanding balances. John also acts as Fund administrator dealing with all aspects of the day to day running of the Fund liaising with both clients and their custodians our custodian and any issues relating to the fund.

Laure de Baillenx

Director Administration (UK)

Laure de Baillenx holds an MA in EU and International Public Law, and an International Degree in French and British Law. She is bilingual English /French and speaks fluent Spanish. She started her career in HR working for a global translation company, she then joined Trident Gaming PLC, an investment company specialized in the development and management of online gaming operations where she coordinated all due diligence operations as well as the application for the grant of an Isle of Man gaming licence. Laure joined TCA 3 years ago, she set up and maintained the administrative structure of the London office, she also organised the original FSA application which resulted in the successful FSA registration of TCA. She currently holds a variety of duties ranging from back office, accounts, HR, compliance, legal translation, company secretarial through to clients and suppliers relations.
